Sitting at the highest point of the property, Quelites Restaurant opens to some of the most spectacular views in Costa Rica. From here, the landscape stretches across the Central Valley and its volcanic chain, all the way to the distant Gulf of Nicoya on the Pacific. To the northwest, soft green mountains embrace the lodge, creating a setting that is both breathtaking and warmly inviting.
Inside the main building, an intimate fireplace surrounded by glass walls creates a cozy space to unwind. Beside it, a classic piano invites guests to sit down and play—filling the room with music and adding a personal touch to the evening atmosphere. Just steps away, the welcoming bar offers the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and good conversation.
Every detail of the restaurant’s design is inspired by our deep coffee heritage. Hand-painted lamps in the entrance corridor illustrate the five stages of the coffee bean. Sections of the ceiling are adorned with coffee sticks, and the traditional cajuelas—the metal measuring tools used daily by farmers—have been transformed into unique displays behind the bar, showcasing our selection of spirits.
In the kitchen, freshness guides everything we prepare. Our dishes highlight locally grown ingredients, and the menu evolves with the seasons. We proudly rescue the best of Costa Rican cuisine, bringing its flavors, aromas, and stories to your table.
Quelites Restaurant is also a favorite among locals. Don’t be surprised if you make new friends—and perhaps discover firsthand why Costa Ricans are known as some of the happiest people in the world.
